Members can access discount benefits by logging in with the email address connected to your membership. Gift certificates and class credits cannot be redeemed online. Please contact the Museum to redeem.
Ages 7-11
$40 non-member, $32 Museum member (fees are per child, per class)
All classes meet at the Museum’s Beet Education Center classroom at 201 E 5th St.
Classes meet on Thursdays, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Kids can continue to explore their artistic creativity during out-of-school time in our fun and welcoming classroom. Whether trying something new or building on existing skills, kids have the chance to explore a variety of materials and techniques, all while connecting with other creative peers. All art supplies are provided by the Museum, unless otherwise noted in the class description-just bring your imagination!
Registration Policy
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid cancellations. If you must cancel your registration, please call (970) 962-2410 at least five (5) business days before the class. You may choose to transfer to another class, retain a credit for a future class, or receive a refund. If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for a class, your registration fee will be forfeited. For refunds, please allow for two weeks for checks to be processed. No cash refunds. The Museum has the right to cancel classes. If class enrollment is below the minimum requirement, a class may be cancelled. Class cancellation decisions are made at least three (3) days prior to class.
Found Object Art – Wednesday, September 2
In honor of the upcoming exhibit celebrating various treasures found during the renovation of Loveland’s 4th Street, we will use random found materials and other supplies to create our own unique works of art. Instructed by Shelby Lynne Bledsoe
Clay Bobbleheads- Thursday, September 10
Sculpt, shape, and nod along in this exciting, hands-on clay adventure! Learn essential hand-building techniques to design, mold, and bring to life your very own custom bobblehead characters. Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Delightful Daisies – Thursday, September 17
Create a beautiful daisy wall hanging using fabrics and colorful paints. Learn how to layer different fabrics to make daisy flowers, then paint a background around them. It’s a great way to make a piece of art to hang up! Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Clay Monster Faces – Thursday, October 29
Sculpt and decorate your very own unique monsters into vibrant clay pots! Use a variety of tools and techniques to add expressive features like horns, fangs, and wacky textures to bring your monster to life. Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Harvest Pots – Thursday, November 5
In this cozy autumn workshop, sculpt a fall-themed clay pinch pot and decorate it with festive clay cutouts. Then, press a variety of colorful harvest beans and seeds into the clay to add beautiful textures and patterns to your finished masterpiece! Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Tin Punch Ornaments – Thursday, December 3
Use easy-to-manage tools to punch holes into your choice of various holiday-themed designs. The finished, sparkling tin piece will be completed with a ribbon and ready to hang as unique holiday decor! Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Candy Dish – Thursday, December 10
Create a beautiful, festive centerpiece for the holiday season! Learn unique clay-weaving techniques to construct your bowl, then finish it with festive details to make the perfect vessel for holding holiday treats. Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
