Flutter and Fly
Friday, July 31
Unleash your little artist's imagination in this hands-on workshop where we explore the magic of symmetry! Tots will paint vibrant patterns on one side of a butterfly, then fold it to "wow" at the perfectly mirrored design that appears. Once dry, these colorful creations come to life as we transform them into fluttering puppets that really flap their wings. Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Tiny Paleontologist Lab
Friday, August 7
Step back in time for a prehistoric adventure where we’ll recreate the skeletons of the past! Young paleontologists will use Q-tips to "excavate" dinosaur bones on paper before mixing their own salt dough to craft authentic, rock-like fossils. It’s a double-feature of dino-discovery that combines fine motor skills with tactile, hands-on fun. Instructed by Mary Jansen-Hedrick
Under the Sea
Friday, August 14
Dive deep into a tactile underwater world where art pops right off the page! Students will sculpt vibrant 3D coral reefs using clay and colorful pasta, then bring the ocean to life by printing textured, "prickly" puffer fish with bubble wrap. This multi-media adventure is perfect for little explorers who love to touch, build, and create.
