Museum Camp for Kids

Current Offerings

Register online for classes or by calling the Museum at (970) 962-2410 or stopping by the front desk.

Members can access discount benefits by logging in with the email address connected to your membership. Gift certificates and class credits cannot be redeemed online. Please contact the Museum to redeem.

In these fun, artistic, and educational mini-camps, students will create a variety of art projects that will explore all sorts of mediums, including fabric, pencil, clay, paint, and so much more! Camp is not complete without an art show on the last day!  (Students should bring a lunch and water bottle with them each day).

For ages 6-11

Camp meets from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Beet Education Center Classroom at 201 E. 5th

$175 for non-members, $140 Museum Members

Registration/Cancellation Policy

We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid cancellations. If you must cancel your registration, please call (970) 962-2410 at least five (5) business days before the class. You may choose to transfer to another class, retain a credit for a future class, or receive a refund. Cancellations made after the above deadline are non-refundable and can only be used as class credit for up to one calendar year. If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for a class, your registration fee will be forfeited. For refunds, please allow for two weeks for checks to be processed (credit refunds not usually available). No cash refunds. The Museum has the right to cancel classes. If class enrollment is below the minimum requirement, a class may be cancelled. Class cancellation decisions are made at least three (3) days prior to class, and you may receive credit or refund.

Fuzzy Fun

World Travel Journal

Create your own travel book, featuring worldly monuments, using pencil, black paint, and colored media. Your travel sketchbook will feature several landmarks including ones in Paris, New York, and Egypt. Instructed by Alison Adams

Masters of Art

Get inspired by the Masters of Art while recreating some of their famous artwork. Learn about Matisse, O’Keeffe, Warhol, and others while making your own masterpieces. Instructed by Alison Adams

All About the 80s
